Hello. I am so glad you are here.
I'm Ashley Nolan DeSouza, a Private Chef + Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.
It starts with food: The unfortunate reality is that the standard North American diet is not working for the vast majority of us. From an increase in autoimmune disease, diabetes, high blood pressure; The list seems infinite and we continue to see an increase in dysregulation in the body year over year. While someone’s food/diet** doesn’t contribute 100% to these issues, what we eat can make a difference in the way that we feel overall.
We are not feeding our bodies in a way that serves us; Dish by DeSouza notices a great need for a revolution in our food systems, food sourcing, food preparation and overall relationships we have with food. Dish by DeSouza is here to help cultivate healthier relationships with food through customized Private Chef Services and Nutritional Therapy Practices*.
What sets Dish by DeSouza’s services apart from others is the comprehensive approach that we take towards food and nutrition within the dishes that we create. Food as medicine is a huge foundation in the DeSouza kitchen. Together, let’s assess your nutritional needs, curate customized menus and goals based on our extensive assessment process… We will also focus on defining your needs and curate customized menus, meal plans and supplementation recommendations based on your bio-individualistic needs based on said assessments + combined with your preferences and goals you’re looking to achieve.
Ashley offers a complimentary 30 minute consultative call or video meeting where we can discuss more in depth possible digestion dysregulation or other foundational principles we may be focusing on while working together. We can also connect about your upcoming event, or collaboration opportunities.

*Ashley DeSouza does not diagnose nor treat diseases or disorders (including Eating Disorders). Ashley DeSouza manages chronic digestive symptoms. If for whatever reason, what you may be experiencing is out of scope of practice for Ashley DeSouza, she may refer you to someone who can help diagnose, prescribe, or manage more serious issues; This includes your primary care provider (PCP). This is a safe space for all.
** Diet: We do not use this word around here in the normal sense. I do not condone or recommend strict/restrictive diets or regimens for clients that are not ready for larger life changes. Ashley DeSouza focuses on a foundational approach and building a healthy relationship around food.
